Monthly Meetings
Join us for the East Coast Gem & Mineral Society’s monthly meetings, where members come together to share knowledge, discuss club activities, and connect with fellow rock and mineral enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting your journey, our meetings offer an engaging and welcoming environment for all.
Our meetings cover a variety of topics, including mineral identification, field trip planning, guest speakers, and member show-and-tell sessions. It’s a great opportunity to learn, network, and stay updated on upcoming events.
Meeting Details:
- Our club meetings are open to the public, with individuals under 17 accompanied by an adult.
- When: Usually the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM
- Where: Online via Google Meet (in-person meetings in Ansonia, CT are in the works)
Meeting Agenda:
- 6:30-7:00 PM: Social Hour, Show and Tell, etc…
- 7:00-7:30 PM: Discussion of Upcoming Digs.
- 7:30-8:00 PM: Discussion of our 2 annual shows.
Scheduled field trips and upcoming events are announced at the meetings and featured in our Facebook Group, sent via email to members and posted on our website.
